Katie Hiesser Dies at 93
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 S. Washington St., for Mrs. Katie B. Hiesser who died Thursday at the Hoemako Hospital Long Term Care unit. The Rev. Parker Smith of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m.in the Mesa City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hiesser was born Dec 14, 1888 in Batesville (sic), TX (note:should be Gatesville). She had lived in Arizona 67 years; 48 years in Casa Grande. She had worked as a bookkeeper-accountant for 30 years for Ritchey-Davis Motors.
Her husband, Frank Joe, preeceded her in death in 1918; her son, Dr. F.G. Hiesser also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Ritchey, Casa Grande; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
