Headley Polk Graham, who had been in poor health for several months, became worse on Tuesday evening and died Thursday June 14.
Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 9:30 at the Calvary Baptist Church of which he was a member. The Rev. Mr. Wiley Henton officiated at the service and the young people's choir sang three numbers: "On Jordan's Stormy Banks, " "Shall We Gather at the River," and "In the Sweet By and By."
Arrangements were in the hands of Cole and Maud Mortuary and the body was sent to Mesa to be buried in the family plot
Mr. Graham was a native of Texas and was born on August 30, 1866. He had been a resident of Arizona for 32 years, fourteen of which were spent in Casa Grande. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Lou Graham, four daughters, Mrs. Mabel McMains and Mrs. Katie Heiser of Casa Grande; Mrs. R.V. Ingram, of Phoenix and W.H. Parsons of Uvalde, Texas; one son, M.C. Graham of Vallejo, Calif and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. .

Mahala Lucinda Rutledge [Parents] "Lou" was born on 4 Jul 1866 in Poteet, TX. She died on 4 Jan 1963 in Casa Grande, Pinal Co., AZ. The cause of death was circulatory collapse; UTI, senility. She was buried in Mesa City Cem., Mesa, AZ. She married Headly Polk Graham on 16 Apr 1884 in Catulla, Guadalupe Co., TX.
