Mrs. Tawwater was born in Linden in Cass County and had lived in Fort Worth for many years. In 1972, she retired from General Dynamics after nearly 25 years in its material control department.
Survivors, all of Fort Worth, include her husband, Woodrow Tawwater; a sister, Myrtle Needham and a brother, Roy W. Allday.

Lincoln (Placer Co.) Dec 29. Don Mayo Ellis, 28 of Wapalo, Wash. was killed instantly and his wife 26, died en route to the Sacramento Hospital shortly before midnight following collision of two cars on Highway 99#, three miles south of Lincoln.
Francis A. Culbertson of Sacramento, driver of one of the cars, his companion, Mrs. Maye Eden, 27, also of Sacramento and Lawrence Ellis 5, son of the killed couple are in the hospital for treatment. Mrs. Eden has a fracture of one arm. The others suffer from shock and minor bruises.
Highway Patrolman Glenn Smart said both cars were en route north when the accident occurred. He said Culbertson's car collided with that driven by Ellis. The bodies of Mr. & Mrs. Ellis are in the Fransworth Mortuary in Lincoln.From the Sacramento Bee, Dec. 30, 1944:
Third Person Dies As Result of Car Crash
Mrs. Mae Eden, 27, of 514 Thirteenth Street died in the Sacramento Hospital last night, the third victim of an auto accident on Highway 99E three miles south of Lincoln, Placer Co., Thursday night.
Don Mayo Ellis, 28, of Wapato, Wash.,was killed instantly in the crash and his wife, 26, died a short time afterward. Francis A. Culbertson of Sacramento, who was injured in the crash, is in a serious condition in the Mercy Hospital.
The highway patrol reported a car driven by Culbertson, in which Mrs. Eden was riding, crashing against a car operated by Ellis. Both were driving north. Lawrence Ellis, 5, the couple's son, was not injured.Per California Death Certificate:
