FINAL RITES HELD FOR JOHN DENTON (Macedonia)
Funeral services for John Denton, 77, senior member of the hardware firm of Denton and Summitt, and a resident of Macedonia most of his life, were held Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E. McAninch officiating.
Mr. Denton was born in Kentucky but came to Macedonia early in life. He is survived only by his widow, his only son, Allen Denton having died in California about a year ago.

Sara M. Clayton was born in 1865. She died in 1889. She was buried in Macedonia Cem., Macedonia, Iowa. She married John B. Denton on 4 Mar 1885 in Pottawattomie Co., Iowa.
