Floyd Miles Dodson, 80, who managed the paint department at Lewers and
Cooke until his retirement in 1950, died yesterday at Queen's Hospital.
Mr. Dodson lived at 2609 Date St. He was born May 14, 1882, in
Gatesville, Tex.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Mililani
Cemetery. They will be conducted by Excelsior Lodge No. 1, 100F. Burial
will follow.
Mr. Dodson was a member of the lodge and Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Anne Dodson; two daughters, Mrs.
Francis D. Sylva and Mrs. Thelma D. Wallace; a grandchild; three
great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Leona Ridgeway of Oklahoma City.Honolulu Advertiser
