HALTOM CITY - William H. "Bill" Tankersley, 94, a truck driver, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002 at a Haltom City care center.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

William was born May 21, 1907 in Mansfield, Texas. He was a loving father and grandfather. He drove trucks for 50 years with Leonard Brothers, he also enjoyed his grandchildren and working in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Tankersley.
