To all persons interested in the estate of Arthur H. Dumas, late of
Fitchburg, in said County deceased. A petition has been presented to said
Court for probate of a certain instrument purporting to be the last will of
said deceased by Majorie Lamothe, of Leominster, in said County, praying
that she be appointed executrix thereof, without giving surety on her
bond... etc...

Arthur H. Dumas, 60, of 535 Wanoosnoc road, a veteran of World War I and a house painter in this city for many years, died Saturday night in Burbank hospital. He was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in this city.
He enlisted in the U.S.army July 22, 1918 and served with Co. A 46th infantry and was discharged at Camp Upton Jan 22, 1919.
He is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Robert Lamothe and Mrs. Gerard LeBlanc of this city and Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips of Alexandria, Va., and two nephews, Edward and Arthur E. Dumas, both of this citiy.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 10 a.,m. in the Smith funeral home with burial in St. Bernard's cemetery.

Napoleon was employed as barber. He immigrated 1 in 1895 to NY from Canada.

On 1910 census living at No.100 Cordelia, Plattsburgh, NY with wife/children and father-in-law William Clingman. On 1920 census, living at 100 S Beekman in Plattsburgh., listed as "Nap C" Immigrated 1895, became naturalized citizen in 1900. Also in household, wife Olive, step-son William Clingman, his 3 natural children plus his father also listed as "Nap C" Racicot - age 65, born Fr. Canada, immigrated to US in 1918, retains alien status.

Elizabeth, the widow of Thomas Veazey married 2nd Calley Denson, Sr. Calley's
first wife was Elizabeth Watkins who preceded him in death. Calley took
guardianship of two of Thomas Veazey's children. One was Matilda Jane and I
can't recall the other one. It was a male who died after marrying and he left
two children if I recall right. Calley Sr.'s probate records can be found in
Calhoun Co., AL. then Benton Co., AL. Calley died in 1845. My GG Grandfather
was his son, James M. Denson of Hancock Co., GA. Calley Jr. was Calley, Sr.'s
only child by his second wife. He is also buried in AL near Lincoln listed as
Dr. C. A. Denson. He served in the 47th regiment of GA as an assistant
surgeon during the war of northern aggression. He was married twice.
