DYKES, WILLIS ELMER, 75 of Wylie, Texas passed away January 8, 2003 at his residence in Wylie, Texas. Willis was born February 1, 1927 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Wylie Jackson Dykes Senior and Floda Carron Mason Dykes. Willis was a member of the Sachse Church of Christ. Willis is survived by his wife, Doris Dykes of Wylie; daughters, Tami Sanders of Wylie, Dee Ann Cummings of Wylie, Valarie Delgado of Wylie; sons, Wylie Dykes of Blossom, Kerry Dykes of Blossom; brother, Roy Ray Dykes of Odessa and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2003 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Allen Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the Sachse Church of Christ in Sachse with Minister Eric Hogue officiating. Interment will follow at the Wylie Cemetery. FORT WORTH -- Richard A. "Dick" Nave, 71, a retired electronics technician, departed this earth Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in Fort Worth.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions be made to the Community Hospice of Texas, Emory J. Lilge House, 301 Med Park Circle, Burleson, Texas 76028.

Richard A. "Dick" Nave was born July 15, 1931, in Anderson, Ind. He retired from the FAA after 30 years. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a proud Marine. He loved playing golf, shuffleboard and darts with his many friends. He loved to travel. He enjoyed his time with his dog, "Bandit."

Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Carole A. Nave; sons, Stephen A. Nave and Scott Nave; daughters, Kelly Temple and husband, Jim, and Susan McDonald and husband, David; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Nazaire also used the name Isaac in English civil records, including North Adams, MA census records, a Cornwall, Ontario voting list, and on daughter, Adeline's, baptism record at St. Columban parish in Cornwall, which was a primarily English parish. He does, however, show up as Nazaire on both Grace and Minnie Maud's baptism records at St. Columban. His last daughter Mary-Elise was baptized in 1888 at the new French parish, Nativite B.V.M., and he appears as Nazaire on that certificate.

He also shows up as Isaac in the 1888 Town of Cornwall voting list, along with Paul Dame, both men residing at 27 Water St., Paul listed as "householder" and Isaac listed as "tenant." It is interesting to note the Baptismal records of Adeline and Marie Elise Dame. Paul Dame and his wife, Mary Ellen Gallagher, not only lived together with Nazaire and MaryJane Dame, but they were God-parents to one another's children.

In the 1900 federal census taken in Fitchburg, MA, Nazaire is listed. He and his daughters are listed as having immigrated from Canada in 1889.
