Juanita Paulsell
Services for Juanita Paulsell, 68, who died Feb. 29 in Gallup, N.M., were held on Monday, Mar. 5, at the Holbrook United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Paulsell was born in Honeygrove, Tex., and came to Northern Arizona in 1931. She married Pat in 1931 and they have owned and operated the 7 Cross Ranch, 9 miles south of Navajo since then.
She was a member and past matron of the Liberty Chapter No. 23 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Pat D.; a son, Pat E.; a brother Earl Phillips; and a grandson.

Leslie Paulsell Buried Jan 11 Cemetery Here
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Community Church in Holbrook for Leslie Calvin Paulsell, 20, who lost his life Sunday in an automobile accident some 16 miles east of Holbrook on U.S. Highway 66. It is believed he dozed at the wheel of his car before it left the road and overturned several times.
With the Rev. Robert Roberts, pastor from Sanders officiating, services included an organ prelude, vocal solo "With These Hands," by L.R. Gibbons, scripture, obituary, and prayer; vocal solo "Cool Waters, " by L.R. Gibbons; sermon; benediction and organ postlude. Mrs. Vivia E. Hulet was organist.
Born in Holbrook Mar. 24, 1939, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patten Paulsell he was widely known throughout northeastern Arizona, as well as in livestock circles in Phoenix, for his entertaining during conventions, meetings, banquets, through his singing with guitar accompaniments.
A graduate of local schools and Sanders High School, 1958, he had entered Arizona State University in Tempe for two years, taking a course in liberal arts and animal husbandry. As a youth he was active for years in 4-H Club work.
He is survived by his parents, and a brother, Patten, Jr.
Pallbearers were Johnny Paulsell, Ted Spurlock, Gordon Roberson, Francis DoBell, Paul DoBell, and Brad DeSpain. Burial was in the Holbrook Municipal Cemetery.
