Obit: "Rains County Leader Oct 28, 1982. Bob Pound Dies Sunday in Greenville. Robert D. Pound, 91, of Rt. 1, Point, Texas died at 7:15 PM Sunday in Greenville after a lengthly illness. Funeral service will be held at Emory Baptist Church, Tuesday at 2:00 PM. Rev. Bob Bryan will officiate. Pallbearers will be George Melton, Buster Pound, Roy Turner, Kenneth Price, Walter Dalton and Kenneth Cason. Mr. Pound was born in Rains County on April 14, 1891 to Jack and Pallmira French Pound. He was married to Gertrude Sisk on April 28, 1925 in Greenville.
