Estill, 78, of Middletown died Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at St. John's Hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1921 near Sweetwater, the son of Albert Ray and Ollie Tilson Estill. He married Leona Council in 1942 in Palmyra, MO. Mr. Estill farmed in te Irish Grove area for many years and retired from Myers Industries in 1984. He was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church, where he served on the church board and was also a member of the Middletown American Legion. Survivors: wife, Leona; two daughters, Ann (husband James) Broch of Greenview and Barbara (husband Richard) Altman of Ripley; a son Ron Estill of Middletown; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a cousin. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Mott and Henning funeral Home in Athens, the Rev. Henry Cox and the Rev. Bob Hanson officiating. Burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Sweetwater.
