Marie Inez Drake died Saturday at a local hospital at the age of 85.
She was born on July 2, 1915, in Hugo, the daughter of Floyd Alexander and Bondaleigh (Farnahm) Bailey.
She attended school east of Pauls Valley and was a homemaker.
In 1936, she married Paul Pruitt. After his death, she married Claude Drake on Dec. 12, 1941, in Stratford.
Drake moved from Oklahoma City to Shawnee 14 years ago.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, her parents, three brothers, Joe Bailey, Gene Bailey and Jerry Bailey, and one grandson, Luke Drake.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Loritta Stanley of Okmulgee; Hazel Pruitt of Muskogee; and Joyce Willis and husband Paul of Shawnee; one son, Royce Drake of Madill, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; seven siblings, Rogenia Brown of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Sybil Stowers of California; Mozelle Wood of Stratford; Fayrene Jones of Ada; Avis Cosby of Oklahoma City; Violet Tabors of Eufala; and Finis Bailey of Moore.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with Daniel Shaughnessy officiating. A private family burial will be held at McGee Cemetery
