Notes for Trudy and Barney Waller by Robert Barclay: Barney lived his entire 80 years and 9 months in Fentress, Caldwell County, a little town on the San Marcus River and served many years as Justice of the Peace. After the death of Trudy, Barney married her cousin, Hallie Belle Priddy on December 3, 1905 in Kaufman Co, TX.
From Sherry Crisp: After Trudy and Barney were married he discovered the doctor had gotten her hooked on drugs. He tried to stop her from taking the drugs and even took her camping on the river to keep her from them but she got weaker and weaker and finally died. At the beginning of the 1900's they knew nothing about drug rehab. When he came to Kaufman to marry (or bury?) Trudy he met Hallie Belle Priddy. This was told to Sherry by Robert Barclay whose Aunt was a Waller had relayed to him. This Aunt lived to be 100.
