Lyman Waters ran onto a man at named Homer Edward or Edwin Brittton, in Springfield Colorado, who is a direct descendant of Ira. Homer had two girls; Sharon & Ruth. Lyman Waters, then heard from Sharon Porte of Los Angeles; who is also a direct descendant of Ira. She said Ira stayed in Oklahoma awhile. He then went to Liberty Kansas. Then he or his descendents homesteaded near Springfield Colorado. (Possibly Sharon is the daughter of Homer Britton). A newspaper clipping had a pencilled note saying that "Lyman tells me, descendants of Ira E Britton, went to Burdett Kansas." There is also a Dr Hamilton & wife; now deceased, who were related to Homer Britton.M vii Perry Eldridge Britton was born on 9 Dec 1855. He died on 25 Aug 1927. Ben apparantly had no religious training as a child. As told by his son; John, Ben didn't seem to feel repentant about about his life, until he lay dying in hospital. At that time he told his wife Nora that she must have been an angel to have put up with him... Also he saw Jesus on the other side of a glass door. When Ben tried to enter the door, the Savior told him, "You're not ready." ...*** Find this information & do this family's work. They are ready & waiting...******
While he lay dying, he was delerious. He kept 'calling on the Holy Name of Jesus in prayer'. His wife & son John felt this was witness that Ben had accepted Our Savior & committed himself to the Lord...
